The event, named Future Plant Trends, is a bespoke in-house trade show that will be held from Monday, November 6, to Thursday, November 9, in Leimuiderbrug.
Attention to all product, category, and sales managers within the floriculture industry – and anyone else interested! We are excited to announce our upcoming event at the newly renovated MNP / Suntory R&D and selection center in Leimuiderbrug, The Netherlands. The event will showcase the latest product offerings, provide inspiration, and offer opportunities for developing new businesses. Additionally, you will have the chance to meet directly with our breeders, which is a unique opportunity to see future developments and learn from the creators themselves. Our new varieties will be presented with the most innovative POS materials, creating new and trendy ideas for decorating and optimizing point-of-sales locations. Best of all, this event is pressureless. Over four days, the plant pioneers from MNP / Suntory will be available to answer all your questions about their products and business opportunities.
Location & route
Visiting the location is relatively easy. It takes only 15 minutes to drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or the Aalsmeer trade fair. Additionally, during week 45, the Royal Flora Holland Trade Fair and IFTF in Vijfhuizen take place, and combining these three visits is highly recommended! So, if you have some spare time, visiting MNP / Suntory will be worthwhile.

First edition throwback
Future Plant Trends was established a year ago with the aim of inspiring professionals in the floriculture industry. The 2022 edition of Future Plant Trends provided an excellent opportunity for MNP / Suntory to introduce a new variety to the public for the first time – the Sundaville® Double Blush Pink. This new variety has been a real game-changer in the floricultural world. “Future Plant Trends allowed us to test the market with peers, growers, retailers, and floriculture enthusiasts, Marketing Communications Manager Francesca Lanzillotta said.” The outcome was positive, as evidenced by the Sundaville Double Blush Pink’s victory in the FleuroStar Award last June and the recent Houseplant Award at the Four Oaks Trade Show in the UK. Additionally, the Sundaville Double Blush Pink is one of the finalists for the Glazen Tulp Award 2023 at the FHTF. We might have another double winner; you don’t want to miss it this year.
Unique varieties with added value.
The upcoming show runs from November 6 to 9 and will be the perfect platform to showcase new and exciting introductions, the breeding company says. Sundaville has an exclusive collection of varieties that come in exciting colors. Princettia® has recently introduced a new variety, the Hot Pink Glitter, that creates an instant vibrant ambiance on shelves and tables. The latest range of trailing Surfinia® is also a must-see for plant enthusiasts and professionals, as it features giant flowers.
